    Establishment and Verification of Calculation Equation on Pore Size in High Temperature Self-lubricating Microporous Preform with Low Porosity

    • The pore structure model of high temperature self-lubricating microporous preform was established, then the calculation formulas for average pore size and pore size distribution were derived, which was suitable for different accumulated modes. Based on organism sweat gland-like structure, the high temperature self-lubricating microporous preform was designed and prepared. The average pore size and pore size distribution of the preform were tested, and then used to verify the calculation formula under body centred cubic packed conditions. The results show that the calculated results for average pore size and pore size distribution agreed well with the measured results, indicating that the calculation formula deduced from the pore structure model can be used to describe the pore size and pore size distribution; with the increase of sintering temperature, the average pore size and range of pore size distribution decreased; when the average size of TiC and M2 powders decreased, the average pore size and range of pore size distribution of the preform also decreased.
